WonderQuest, Maker Studios

Tapping into students obsession with watching Youtubers play their favourite games, we created a scripted educational Youtube series. Staring several popular YouTubers like Stampycat, iBalisticSquid, Stacyplays and many more.


The first series is based on the American year 3 and year 4 curriculum and covers everything from the planets to ecosystems. A number of teachers researched and assisted with the scripting of the show.


The show consists of short bite size animated episodes and longer 15-20 min episodes acted out and filmed in a custom created Minecraft experience, which the students can download and explore on their own time.


We have had countless teachers contacting us from around the world sharing their gratitude and experiences. To date the series has had over 100 million views.

Great Fire Of London, London Museum

The tragic event will be portrayed through three different experiences; the first will show the city as it stood before the fire, complete with iconic landmarks such as London Bridge and St Paul's Cathedral.


Audio clips will be scattered throughout the world, containing some explanations (the long, dry summer and the city's wooden houses, for instance) for why the inferno spread so quickly.


The second will put you in the middle of the crisis and include basic mini-games about saving residents and fighting the flames. You'll also be able to make "crucial decisions" by talking to historical figures.


The third, will allow players to rebuild London using the architectural plans drawn up by Christopher Wren, John Evelyn and others.


Playing all three should, the museum hopes, create an experience that's both unique and informative. The "Great Fire of London" is a popular classroom topic in Britain, so the experiences should make for a refreshing departure from musty textbooks and TV documentaries.

Tateworlds, Tate London

The Tate Art Gallery in London approached us to create a series of interactive experiences (games) based on art works in the gallery.


The experiences allow the player to step into the world of the painting or sculpture and learn about the art style, artists and times they lived in.


For example “The Pool of London” by Andre Derain is an adventure where you interact with the artist himself, he lost his paints and requires your assistance in gathering the ingredients to make more. During your adventure you learn all about the fauvism art style, how artists made their colours and about 18th century London.


You get to explore Custom’s House, Tower Bridge, St Catherine’s Docks and many famous 18th century landmarks. We had a parent contact us expressing their amazement when their 8 year old asked her to take him to the Tate. He wanted to go see the painting, once there he was telling her all about fauvism and how the queen burned smuggled goods at St Catherine's docks.

Playcraft Live, Londonderry Playhouse


It's an original play written by Alex Scarrow, author of the popular "Time Riders" teen novels.


The timey-wimey story slips between real and virtual worlds as the Time Riders skip from modern-day New York to Neolithic times, with the story unfolding both in the theatre and online as a single livestream.


In the real world, actors take the stage at the Playhouse Teatro in Derry, Ireland. And online, puppeteers control the actors within Minecraft.


Simultaneously live broadcast on BBC and various digital streaming platforms

We Are The Rangers, Royal Foundation

For “We are the Rangers”, an initiative by the Royal Foundation, we are creating a series of quests based experiences in a Minecraft recreation of Mount Kilimanjaro and its surrounding areas.


The player becomes a Ranger and is tasked with protecting and maintaining the safety of the various indigenous and often endangered animals.


At night they are tasked to hunt down and destroy poacher camps. In the day they need to help baby elephants trapped in a well, relocate an male Rhino, track down and free the missing pangolins and many more.


The aim is to teach the student in a fun and exciting way the challenges and necessity of nature conservation.

efugee Crisis

Refugee Crisis

The refugee crisis experience was created for the a UN charity.


The idea was to place kids in the shoes of a refugee child that has to escape a war torn Aleppo.


You had to sell your family’s belongings to hire a people smuggler and then make your way across Syria, armed with nothing but your mobile phone.


Along your journey you meet fellow travellers and listen to how they are trying to escape the war.


Hunger, gunfire, exploding bombs, soldiers, tanks and a dying mobile phone are some of the challenges you will face.
